So I've accomplished quite a few organization projects over the past couple weeks. I'm giddy with organizing overload. Clean and organized= one happy mama :) I'll be posting my dollar tree organized pantry this weekend as well as taking you through my oldest sons organized and updated bedroom. Cant wait :) Until then take a peek at a few of my organized kitchen cabinets!
WARNING...these BEFORE pictures are pretty scary!! Actually more like terrifying :) To be honest though, I previously had other organizing baskets that I decided to change out. So while I searched for the perfect baskets, the cabinets looked like this:
I warned you :) $8.00 later (Love me some Dollar Tree) and a little bit of time they now look like this:
Here is a closeup to give you a peek at my labels. Have I mentioned yet that I LOVE clean and organized?
Cant wait to find something new to organize this weekend!! Take Care- I'll be back with more great posts this weekend!
XOXO-

Start now for a cheap Christmas
We are on a pretty strict budget around here as we try to pay down credit card debt that we piled on when I became laid off over 2 years ago. (I'm now back to work...and loving my job) Christmas is our biggest spending spree.....with 3 kiddo's who love good 'Ole St. Nick, we cant disappoint. My husband and I both joined Swagbucks around 2 years ago. It is a crazy easy way to earn free amazon giftcards or other great prizes! We collect our points until we have saved enough up to cash in for a $5.00 amazon e-card. We save all of our e-cards until November when we start our Christmas shopping online! Combined, within the course of a year, we usually have between $150-$200 in Amazon bucks. Pretty awesome- right? Sure puts a great big dent in our Christmas shopping!! And to think it's so flipping easy too!! Wanna give it a shot?? Click on the link below to get started!

Home Work Drawer
Dropping by with a quick opening post...all about my most favorite thing....ORGANIZING! That one word makes my heart go pitter patter and gets my adrenaline running. I LOVE ORGANIZING!! We moved into our freshly built home 4 years ago, now that we are settled, we are working to make our builder grade house more of a home. While we are remodeling as we can, I've found organizing doesn't cost much when you stick to a budget :) I will take you through our home adventures one post at a time. First up.....(drum roll please).....our Home Work Drawer. This has made life so much easier!!
This drawer is in our kitchen and once served the junk drawer. The conversion has been priceless! Everything has it's very own place, and magically it's stayed pretty clean!!
Our loose leaf paper basket...perfect for homework, grocery lists, or message taking when on the phone!
3 long skinny bins hold our scissors, pencils, and pens. The two square bins hold our crayons, and misc. office supplies including tape, glue, calculator, etc.
This section houses my teal coupon binder, plastic zipper pouch to hold all of our box tops for the schools, and a folder for each family member. The folders hold any paperwork that needs reviewed, information from school...and of course the Daddy and Mommy folders holds lots of bills :( Under the folders you will find my calendar which I record family activities for the month.
Cost Breakdown: 1- 4pk blue skinny baskets- $1.00 Dollar Tree
1- 3pk blue square baskets- $1.00 Dollar Tree
Red Paper Basket- $1.00 Target Dollar Bins
4 Folders- .05 cents each- Staples (last yr)
Striped Zipper Pouch- $1.00 Target Dollar Bin
Grand Total- $4.20 plus Tax- WOOHOO!!!
There ya have it. This system is working perfectly for our family of 5, hopefully you can put it to use in your home too!!!
